Participation in Trophy Mondiale Accordion 2020 online
Trophy Mondiale Accordion - one of the largest International competitions in the World was held online (for the first time in this format) this year. There were 750 candidates from all over the world (more than 40 countries). Mirkovic has participated in categories Masters, where he won 6th place from 52 candidates and in category Richard Galliano Trophy, where he passed in TOP 10, and after jury member points (president of the jury was R. Galliano) was positioned 8th with Galliano's points 23/25. There were 32 candidates in this category. Videos from those categories you can find below.

New piece by Aleksa Mirković - Sonata No. 1 for solo button accordion ('Almaz')
|
The first Sonata for solo accordion written by Aleksa Mirkovic named 'Almaz' is dedicated to famous Russian accordionist and friend of Mirkovic's - Vladimir Stupnikov. Idea of composing this piece was developed after visit to Almaz Fund in Kremlin in Moscow (Russia), during Mirkovic's stay in December 2019. Premiere is planned for 2021.

Awards in Russia
Mirkovic won GRAND PRIX (Composers' category) and First prize (Performer's category) at International art competition 'MuzArt', which is held online and organized by association from Vologda (Russia). Also, just one day after, Mirkovic has won First prize (best ranked in category) in 4th International competition of music performers 'Kazan-Music Yort' in category Students of Higher educational institutions. This competition is also held online and organized by Kazan State Institute of Culture.

New platform for accordion players and lovers starts today on platform Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. You will find very interesting information in different posts, so subscribe and follow us. Platform will be bilingual in most of its posts.

Trough ages, since I was little boy, music was my main occupation. At the age of five, I chose the accordion as my favourite instrument and guide trough its art. As time was passing, I changed little classroom with stage, and, step by step, it become life I want to live without ending. I discovered opportunities music gives to every passionated musician as traveling, meeting new people, playing in new halls, with one and only duty - to LEARN whole your life. The intstrument I chose is, nowdays, one of the most interesting for composers and both in chamber and solistic music. Most of modern literature is written for accordion. Concerts and competitions are inevitable part of my music life. Thanks to that, I've met many great artist and professors and played in many countries in Europe. But my dream is not just Europe, but the whole world with many new acquaintances, concerts and collaborations. I'm always looking forward to new adventures and travels trough (music) world. So, let continue... |

Official artist of FISITALIA accordion factory (Italy)
Thanks to many awards, in July 2015 Mirković become official artist of Fisitalia accordion factory from Italy. The model he plays is Bayan B61.
